Challenge yourself
Set yourself that bucket list challenge you’ve always wanted to take part in! From running 10k to digging deep for a marathon, the leap of faith of a skydive to trekking a long distance walk, you can apply for a place in one of our events or sign up to your own challenge.
Quiz night
Test the trivia knowledge of your friends, family and colleagues by holding a quiz night. Get brains thinking, teammates confiding, and pens scribbling by charging an entrance fee and providing snacks and drinks.
Bake sale
Whisk up some tasty treats for this fundraisers favourite. Will you stick to the classics or opt for a showstopper? The rules are simple, ask for donations in exchange for some home baked goodies.
Host a masterclass
Do you have a skill that others are keen to master? If your friends are fans of your culinary delights, or marvel at your yoga skills, you could hold a masterclass in your specialist subject in exchange for donations.
Sponsored silence
If you’re usually quite the chatterbox, more people may want to sponsor you!
Book/clothing sale
Do you have old books gathering dust on your shelves, or struggle to close the doors on your wardrobe? Have a clear-out and fundraise at the same time! Sell the items you no longer want and that are in a good condition at a boot sale or online, and put the money raised towards your fundraising target.
Sponsored car wash
This works best at large office or retail car parks. Ask permission from the land owner, invest in the right equipment and advertise ahead of the day that you’ll be there.
Christmas fundraising
Christmas is one of the most charitable times of the year, so make the most of adding some festive cheer to your fundraising by going Christmas carolling, offering gift-wrapping for donations, or taking part in a Christmas themed fancy dress run.
Summer fundraising
The better weather gives you a chance to take classic fundraising events and hold them in the sunshine! Set up an outdoor bake sale or hold a barbecue. Organise a Sports Day or hold a stall at a summer fete.
Bonfire Night
Why not tailor your fundraising activities around this family fun event? Partner with a local shop or school and set up your own fete in the community with a few stalls.
You could charge an entrance fee, hire a bouncy castle, sell toffee apples and offer face painting etc.
Halloween
Transform a community hall into a spectacular haunted house. Play eerie music, make the house dark, and make a twisted and narrow pathway for the guests to walk through, full of turns and scares at every corner.
You could rope a couple of friends in to wear costumes and randomly pop up and scare the guests. The scarier, the better! Invite neighbours and friends and ask an entrance fee.
Outdoor cinema
Perfect for those warm summer nights, a film showing is easy to host and always draws in a crowd.
You'll need a permit, projector, a large white sheet/projector screen and a sound system. Depending on the scale of your event you could ask local food trucks to attend.
