This Christmas, we need your help to raise £40,000 which would help stop 60 families from reaching breaking point and falling apart.
Mandy was living with fibromyalgia, a slipped disc in her spine and a condition called NEAD - non-epileptic attack disorder. Her son, Logan, was autistic and her daugher Erin was a carer for him. On top of that, they'd just lost their dad.
Mandy said, "We’d lost each other because of all that we’d been through. Then we were offered a holiday and things changed."
"We travelled down to Torquay with the dog Obi – it was the first time he’d been in the sea. We did some sightseeing, went to the model village and the beach. It changed the dynamics of the family for the better. The time away helped us learn to sit and communicate."
Your support this year will allow families like Mandy’s to have some much needed bonding time, and find their way back to each other again.
Mandy's daughter, Erin, said after their holiday, “I think it was just life-changing really. We bonded more but also realised that, despite our differences, we do all love each other and that holiday really made us aware of that.”
Please donate this Christmas to give more families like Mandy’s the chance to heal through a life-changing holiday.
